Our goal is to make a large user guide appear less overwhelming. We are doing this by moving most of the details into online-only “reference” pages. These pages do not appear in the TOC (this is easily controlled by having its own Paragraph Format and specifying no TOC level for it in ePublisher) and are only linked to from more general sections in the main guide.

This all works well except for the fact that the Webworks Help navigation buttons remain active, so when a user uses them they will become confused about “where they are”.
